Senior athletes take on parents, faculty for charity

A crowd of about 60 patrons was treated April 1 to volleyball and basketball games at the Senior-Parent-Faculty Night. Moms and Dads took to the court with some help from the PBHS faculty to play the younger generation. The event has become a recent tradition for the high school seniors. This year the Moms played volleyball instead of basketball.

Student council sponsor Patty Savage was pleased with the event. "It was a lot of fun and I think everyone had a good time."

Mom volleyball player, Nancy McLeod was a little tired after the match. "I'm glad we didn't have to play basketball," she said. "I can't imagine how I would feel if I'd had to do that!"

The event, co-sponsored by the senior class and student council, raised $110 to be given to a local charity yet to be determined.
