School board honors Anderson
Lou Anderson was honored June 30 for his 14 years of service on the Peabody-Burns USD 398 board of education.
Anderson and his wife Barbara were guests of honor at a supper held in Burns.
Thomas Alstrom, superintendent of schools, presented Lou with an engraved school bell from the district and thanked him for his many years of dedication to the staff and students of USD 398.
During his years on the board, Anderson has served terms as president and vice president. He also served as the board's representative to the TEEN board and the special education cooperative.
