Congratulations to Bruce and Sheila Sayers on the birth March 4 of a granddaughter, Ryan Elaine, to Rick and Lisa Livingston of Mesquite, Texas. The baby weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces. Lawrence and Lois Sayers are her great-grandparents.

Sunday dinner guests of Kenny and Roma Koehn at Galva were Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Esther Highfill, Dusty Gaines of Newton, Jeff and Jill Koehn of Hutchinson, and Shawn and Jean Koehn and new baby boy Conner of Moscow. All the ladies attended a community layette shower for Conner in the afternoon.
Joe Lambert of Norton brought his mother, Florence Lambert, to the home of her daughter and family, Bonnie, Al, and Shelby Plummer on Thursday. She was a guest until Sunday when her daughter, Kay, took her to the home of another daughter, Doris Garten in Valley Center. She visited with several relatives and Kay took her back to Norton on Monday. Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abby of Nixa, Mo., came Friday and all attended the Butler County Community College vocal music department concert, "A Song for All Seasons." Shelby Plummer and Emily Langenegger performed. Kathleen Brenzikofer, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle also attended the excellent performance.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee and Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diana. They celebrated Wanda's birthday.
Ike and Marie Clark visited Maude Clark Friday afternoon. We are so glad Maude is home and doing better. They called on Joyce Kyle later in the afternoon. It was nice to see them.
Megan and Jessica Sayers were guests of Joyce Kyle Thursday after school. Their grandfather, Lawrence, had cataract surgery that day and is doing fine. The girls' dad, Bruce, came to pick them up and we had a nice visit.
Little Hadlye Shay Clark, daughter of Mack and Shayla Clark, was guest of honor Saturday evening at a layette shower at the Burns United Methodist Church. Her aunts, Diane Nelson, Gloria Handle, Jen Stucky, Peg Van der Weg, and her big sister, Morgan, were hostesses. Those attending from this community were Sherol Nightengale, Patti Gaines, Lois and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica, and Joyce Kyle. It was a lovely evening with the little "miracle baby" being passed around for all to see.
