Sara Funk
Sara Funk, 57, of Herington, died Feb. 7, 2006.
Born Nov. 2, 1948, at Chihuahua, Mexico, she was the daughter of Clarence and Tina Braun Koehn Buller.
She was a bookkeeper and former resident of Hillsboro. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Hank Shope of Herington; two sons, Sam Funk of Park City and Chad Funk of Hillsboro; daughter, Cassandra Urban of Herington; mother, Tina Buller of Hillsboro; four brothers, Oscar, Ernie, Dave, and Frank Koehn, all of McPherson; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at First Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Randy Smith officiating.
Burial was Saturday afternoon at Mound Township Cemetery, west of Moundridge.
A memorial fund has been established with American Heart Association.
