Sally Stack
Ettamae "Sally" Stack, 101, died Oct. 4, 2005, at Newman Regional Health, Emporia.
Born May 15, 1905, near Marion, she was the daughter of Fred V. and Della M. (Childs) Suffield.
She grew up in Marion and graduated from Marion High School in 1924. Most of her life was spent in the Marion community.
She was a secretary and worked for the Marion County Clerk's office and superintendent of schools. She was a member of Eastmoor United Methodist Church and the UMW.
On May 16, 1943, she married Robert L. Stack at Oswego.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dick Stack; and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; son, Jack Summerville of Marion; daughter, Dawna Denney of Madison; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion, with the Rev. John Goering and the Rev. Bob Robison officiating.
Burial will be in Claney Cemetery, Marion.
Memorial funds have been established with the Ladies' Auxiliary, Madison.
