Ruth Kimball

Ruth Louise Kimball, 86, of Hamilton died Dec. 26, 2002, after a lengthy illness. She resided at Discovery Care Centre in Hamilton.

Born in St. John on Oct. 13, 1916, she was the daughter of Frederick and Margaret Armstrong.

As a young woman she moved to Colorado with her family. It was there that she met Everett Earl Kimball. They were married Jan. 16, 1937, in Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Ruth and her family lived in Peabody from 1954 to 1962. Her two sons graduated from Peabody High School, Virgil in 1958 and Terry in 1962.

She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1974, and by an infant son, Lyle Edward.

Surviving sons are Virgil Kimball and his wife Carla of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Terry Kimball and his wife Karen of Cedar Lake, Ind.

Also surviving are a sister, Eva Herrera of Arvada, Colo., two brothers, Robert and Albert Armstrong, both of Grove, Okla.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Ruth will be remembered as a kind and gentle lady who loved her family.

A private memorial service and interment of ashes will be held at a later date in Lafayette, Colo.
