Rodeo draws many from Wonsevu area

Bill Williams and Gary attended the Flint Hills Rodeo at Strong City Friday evening. Carl Williams attended Friday and Saturday evening.
Julia Smith and Johnny, Jaimie, and Denise Lang helped on the 4-H float in the rodeo parade Saturday. Along with Sharon Smith, they all participated in the parade.
Justin Smith and Jessica Reid attended the rodeo Friday and Saturday evening.
Wonsevu Christian Church dismissed their Sunday morning services. Church members attended rodeo church services at Strong City.
Denise Lang and Jaimie and Patty Mitchell and Amy attended the rodeo in Strong City Sunday afternoon.
Julia Smith attended 4-H Discovery Days at Kansas State University from Wednesday to Friday afternoon.
Johnny and Jaimie Lang spent from Saturday until Tuesday at Rock Springs 4-H Camp.
Hazel Clothier visited Lois and Bus Huntley in Florence Wednesday. An additional guest was Joyce Hett of Marion.
Ladies Aid met Thursday for a work day. Those present were Evelyn Sidener, Margaret Morgan, Denise Lang, and Bev Morgan.
Friday dinner guest of Bill and Margie Williams was Junior Grimmett of Cedar Point.
Hazel Clothier's Saturday dinner guests were her daughter and grandchildren, Teresa Hill, Nellie, Heath, and Cassidy of Marion.
Saturday evening guests of Bill and Margie Williams were Virgil and Ginny Smith of El Dorado.
Jaimie Lang was a Saturday overnight and Sunday guest of Amy Mitchell.
Johnny Lang's Saturday overnight guest was Andy Shipman of Florence.
Sunday guests of Harold and Bernice Odle were Mike and Jana Cochran, Lauren and Rachael of Overland Park and Russell and Norma Schwilling of Strong City.
