Retirement party honors Graeme Glaser
Longtime postal career Graeme Glaser was honored Feb. 10 with a retirement party at Buffalo Gulch in Burns.
The event was hosted by U.S. Postal Service employees from Burns and Peabody.
A copper mailbox made by Tracy Hett was given to Glaser to remind him of his postal days and life on the route.
Glaser worked as a full-time rural carrier for nearly seven years. He also served as a substitute carrier for three years prior to his full-time employment. His retirement officially begins Saturday.
Glaser's future plans include working with his wife, Diane, on their farm, traveling, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
