By Jared Unrau

Goessel FFA president

Kyle Bauer from "The Voice of the Plains" KFRM radio, 550 AM will present a program at 7:45 p.m. April 29 at Goessel High School auditorium.

Goessel FFA welcomes anyone who is interested in learning how agriculture is changing.

Bauer has lived and worked in and around Clay Center all his life. He and two other investors bought KFRM in 1996 and rebuilt it as one of the leading agricultural stations in the country. Serving as the general manager for KCLY and KFRM radio as well as program director and sales manager for KFRM, Bauer finds it easy to keep abreast of the organization.

He and his wife Lisa continue to farm in the area and have other business interests. They have three children, Blake, 24, Paige, 22, and Abby, 16. Lisa teaches family and consumer sciences at a middle school. Kyle graduated from Kansas State University in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics.
