Quilters seek quilt tops

Some residents at Peabody Community Living Center are looking for work. Dorothy Johnson, Sarah Albright, and Laura Slocombe are among the residents who quilt to help pass the time.

Quilt tops are needed and can be brought to the center to keep the ladies "in stitches."

One quilt top, donated to PCLC, has been finished and is on display. The quilt also will be displayed downtown in the near future. A raffle for the quilt will be held in August, with funds going back to PCLC.

"The money that we make will go for group activities," stated Koni Yoder, residential living director at PCLC. "The ladies are very dedicated and would like more quilts to work on."
