Police respond to unattended death
Peabody Police Chief Jeff Pohlman reports that at 8:45 a.m. Friday, Sergeant Bruce Burke responded to the scene of an unattended death at 508 N. Maple.
At 5 p.m. Saturday Anna Jagt was arrested at 1001 N. Vine, after violating a protection from abuse order by Marion County. Jagt was not to return to the home on Vine without police being present. She was booked into Marion County Jail.
Richard Todd Litton entered a residence Nov. 21 at 1:30 p.m. without the owner's permission. He allegedly stole some narcotics from the residence and left the scene. He later was arrested in Newton and returned to Marion County where he was booked into the county jail. Litton was charged with aggravated burglary, assault, batter, and theft.
Jason Miler of Burns failed to keep his vehicle in the proper lane at Central and Maple, Peabody, at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26. He and James Unruh collided. No tickets were issued and no one was injured.
