Police chase driver
Peabody Police arrested Todd Litton Thursday evening in the parking lot of Coneburg Inn on the west edge of Peabody for multiple traffic violations. Marion County dispatch contacted Peabody officers about 7 p.m. to report that Litton was involved in a verbal family dispute. As police arrived Litton left the residence at 505 Plum and fled in his vehicle.
Officers observed him driving erratically and followed him north on Plum to Seventh and west to Peabody Street where he turned north. He was stopped at the Coneburg Inn. During the traffic stop marijuana was identified in his vehicle and search ensued.
Litton was charged with reckless driving, fleeing and alluding an officer, and possession of marijuana. Final charges are pending.
Police took a report Sept. 15 of theft and forgery at 606 N. Vine. The case is under investigation.
David Orcutt was arrested by Peabody officers on Sept. 27 at 907 N. Locust. Orcutt was arrested for failure to appear on a warrant from district court in Lyon County.
On Oct. 5 a search warrant was executed at 401 N. Vine and one suspect was arrested. John Bram was taken to Marion County Jail and booked on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
