Plummers attend baby shower

June Ford and husband Ron of Haysville, sister of Al Plummer, visited Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Saturday afternoon. In the evening, the Plummers attended the baby shower at the Burns Community Building for Lane Gregory Watkins, son of Jim Bob and Jody.
Patti Gaines went to Canton Friday afternoon to visit her mother, Esther Highfill, at Shiloh Manor. They went shopping in the late afternoon.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Jay and Vicky Cook, and Ernie and Lou Ann Gray went to Olpe Saturday evening to celebrate all their anniversaries.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were Saturday supper guests of Brad and Diane Nightengale, Roger, Laura, and Casey in El Dorado.
Ike and Marie Clark visited Marvin and Sherol Nightengale Sunday evening.
Joyce Kyle went to the Burns United Methodist Church Tuesday evening for the viewing for Wanda Van Tuyl. She called on Minamae Bierman later. She attended the Van Tuyl funeral on Wednesday, the Relay for Life in Hillsboro Friday evening, and Saturday afternoon the welcome home party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sivits for their grandson, Stoney, who returned from Iraq.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee and Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diane. They were celebrating Nathan's birthday.
The Henry R. Smith family had a reunion over the weekend. They had a picnic at the home of John and Norma Smith Saturday with 110 attending. Ninety met at the Burns Community Building on Sunday.
Wayne and Cindy Unruh of Fairview, Okla., visited her father, Obed Schmidt, over the weekend.
Brent and Renita Dirks of Scott City were weekend guests of her parents, Roger and Geneva Koehn.
