PHS classmates gather for dinner, reminiscing
Members of Peabody High School class of 1955, and friends from the classes of 1954 and 1956 got together Aug. 21, to visit and dine with classmate Robert Torres and his wife, Belen, of Albuquerque, N.M.
The Torres' were in Kansas to visit friends and family. They met with former Peabody High School classmates at Arletta's in Burns. The group enjoyed visiting and reminiscing about the past.
Those attending from the area were Carl and Carlene Bedner of Emporia, Mary Jane Olsen of Marion, and Rod and Twilah Williams of Florence.
From Peabody were John and Cora May Bloomer, Delbert and Pat Mellott, Bonnie and Dennis Strasser, Keith and Marilyn Harsh, Pat Hunnel, Ed and Ann Slocombe, Carmen and James South, Warren and Donna Windsor, Warren Slocombe, Maurice and Nancy Meirowsky, and Mick and Noreen Weems.
