PHS Class of 46 gives back to community years ago
Members of Peabody High School class on 1946 celebrated the 60th anniversary of their graduation May 27 at the Morgan House in Peabody.
Those enjoying dinner in the historic home were: Bob and Phyllis Funk, Irvin Ulsh, Maxine Ulsh, and Rozella Warhurst, all of Newton; Jackie Hett and Earlene Hague, Marion; Randy and Betty Robinson and Phil and Frances Kottler, Wichita; Marvin and Thelma Warkentin, Peabody; Doris Jean Denny, Valley Center; and Bob and Billie VanTuyl, Greene, Iowa.
Plans were made to get together again next year. A generous donation of class funds was given to Peabody Fire Department toward the purchase of a thermal imaging camera.
Several classmates attended the Memorial Day dinner Monday at the high school.
