Peabody High School class of 1965 held its class reunion May 29 at Peabody Senior Center.
The group began the event by touring the high school. Class photos were taken of 18 classmates.
After dinner Roger Decker welcomed everyone and had each class member bring everyone up to date about themselves and their families.
Kerby Mellot traveled the farthest to attend and Bill Jacobs traveled the least.
Everyone agreed Larry Edmonds had changed the least. Karen Bevens had the most grandchildren.
The slide show with grade school and high school pictures of class members was a big hit and enjoyed by everyone.
Those attending were Kerby Mellot, San Dimas, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Edmonds, Doland, S.D.; Lenora Manahan, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Steve and Pat (Coons) Davis, Kearney, Neb.
Duane Buller, Hesston; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Decker, El Dorado; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jewell, Manhattan; Lonnie and Karen (Will) Bevan, Leon.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Skaer and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ross, Wichita; Lynda (Davis) Bright and Mary Beth (Scrivner) Gaines, Newton.
Ernie and Jancie (Gibson) Edens, Jon and Carolyn (Truax) Gard, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Flaming, Bill Jacobs, and Joan Stovall, all of Peabody.
