Phillips, Hayes wed in Ireland

Marissa Nicole Phillips and Noel William Patrick Hayes were united in marriage Aug. 27.

They were wed in Meelick Church, County Galway, Ireland.

The bride was given in marriage by her twin brother Thomas. She was attended by her sister Shalena Rohrer of Burlington, her cousin Wendy Gibson of Peabody, and longtime family friends Jessica Fife of Los Angeles, Calif., and Julie Fife of Chicago, Ill. Marissa's brothers Robby and Kurt were ushers, her niece Catherine Rohrer of Burlington was flower girl and Conor Hayes, son of the groom, was ring bearer.

The groom's brothers, William and Padraig of RosCrea, County Tipperary, and Seamus and Paul, both of Bella Colla, County Loais, served as groomsmen.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Peabody-Burns High School and 2006 graduate of Bethany College.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Christian Brothers School of RosCrea.

Marissa is the daughter of Peggy Phillips of Peabody and the late Robert Phillips, Jr. Noel is the son of Ann and Seamus Hayes of Bella Colla, County Loais, Ireland.

Marissa and Noel now make their home at Shee Hills, RosCrea, County Tipperary, Ireland.
