PES book fair theme is 'Clued Into Reading'

Peabody Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will host a Scholastic Book Fair Tuesday through Thursday. The fair is a fun-filled book sale and literacy event geared to excite children about reading and learning.

The book fair will offer the most popular books and educational products for all ages, including the newest titles, award-winners, classics, and interactive products from more than 150 publishers.

Parents, children, teachers, and both communities are invited to get "Clued into Reading."

The fair will be open Tuesday at Peabody Elementary School from 10:10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 4 to 8:30 p.m. during parent teacher conferences. It will be open Wednesday from 10:10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Thursday from 10:10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and again during conferences from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

One of the book fair's primary goals is to help teachers build classroom libraries. Visitors to the fair can check each teacher's "Classroom Wish List," then purchase and donate a requested book, helping teachers develop a rich array of learning resources for children in USD 398 communities.

Everyone is invited and the PTO hopes to see you there.
