Mary Jane Grimmett and Jean Everett attended a birthday party Saturday for Bethany Grimmett at the home of her parents, Tyson and Melanie Grimmett, in Marion. Other guests were Justin and Rachelle Grimmett of Clay Center, Christi Soyez and Junior and Ginny Grimmett of Cedar Point, Sara Cleeton and Steven Miller of Durham, Rick and Cathy Cleeton, Brent Cleeton and friend, Jill, Merle and Nova Bruner, Jenille Taylor, Ashley Hoffman, Amanda Hoffman, and Rodney Chaplin.

Rod and Twilah Williams hosted a "pitch in and help" pitch party Saturday evening for Florence United Methodist Church members and guests. Those attending were Rick and Margaret Burcky, Mary Jane Grimmett, Les and Linda Allison, Raquel Riggs and Erika, Richard and Dolores Mann, Joyce Hett, and Roberta Winter.

Patty Williams was a Monday afternoon visitor of Don and Twylah Nightengale. They were Sunday evening guests of Richard and Dolores Mann.

Betty Ireland attended an area Marion County senior center board meeting Friday in Tampa.

Don and Twylah Nightengale and their houseguests, Peggy and Doug Leitzen and Carol Nightengale attended a reception and repeating of marriage vows Saturday evening for Luke and Chris Turner at Eureka Lake.

Ronald and Kathleen Ludwig were Thursday supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor in Marion.

Cy Goertz was a Sunday dinner guests of Ray and Eleanor Davidson.

Betty Ireland spent Sunday through Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ireland and family in Topeka. She attended the musical, "All Aboard for Broadway," in which her granddaughter, Kimberlee, was a performer.

Marlin and Cheri Satterfield and Ryan and Newton and Nikki Vannocker and Reese of El Dorado were Sunday visitors of Orville and Joy Vannocker.

Weekend guests of Don and Twylah Nightengale were Peggy and Doug Leitzen of Illinois. Carol Nightengale of Topeka visited Saturday and Twylah and Carol attended a baby shower that afternoon for Steffanie Mackey and baby son, Brendan, in Cottonwood Falls.

Tim and Janette Parmley were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Parmley of Montrose, Mo.

Betty Ireland and Virginia Learned visited Thursday with Marge Watchcoske and Margaret Bezek of Legacy Park in Peabody. Betty and Lenora Graham also visited Sunday afternoon.

Don and Twylah Nightengale and Harold and Chloe Triggs attended the Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre production, "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," Thursday evening in Wichita.
