Peabody woman wins trip to Las Vegas
A Peabody woman is one of 12 Kansas Lottery players to win a trip for two to Las Vegas to participate in the Powerball Instant Millionaire Game.
Connie Bowen of Peabody was selected Friday during the ninth and final drawing for the instant millionaire show conducted by the Kansas Lottery.
She is one of 12 players with the chance to become a millionaire.
Twelve "on-air" contestants were selected along with 17 "at home" players. The game shows are filmed in a studio at The Venetian, a resort hotel and casino in Las Vegas. All Kansas "on air" contestants are guarantee to win at least $1,000.
The 12 shows will begin airing July 10 and last through Sept. 25.
