Peabody seeks high-speed Internet
Community leaders at Peabody are attempting to get broadband high speed Internet service.
An agreement has been made with DTN Speednet to provide such service for Peabody, if 15 users sign up.
N.M. Patton of Business Computer Center, Newton, will hold a public open house Thursday at his store at 1023 Washington Road, Newton.
The public is invited to see a demonstration of high speed Internet service in action.
DTN is operating in Marion and Hillsboro. It provides access by wireless method.
Initial installation costs are being discounted.
Patton said, "If you are interested in getting faster Internet service into Peabody, here's your chance."
