Peabody police make arrests
Joseph Caudle was arrested Jan. 23 on a Peabody Municipal Court warrant. Jason Anderson was arrested for driving while his license was suspended.
Peabody officers took a report Jan. 26 of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile has been returned and the case filed with Marion County Attorney.
Also on Jan. 26, a criminal damage to property report was given to law enforcement. The victim was the city of Peabody. The case is under investigation.
A report of domestic battery and criminal damage to property was made Jan. 27. The case is under investigation.
Charges will be filed against an adult who provided a minor with tobacco products Jan. 28.
Under investigation are an incident of credit card fraud reported Jan. 29 and the battery of a juvenile Jan. 31. The battery case is being investigated in cooperation with SRS.
Peabody police officers assisted Marion County Sheriff's Department officers Jan. 30 with a search warrant served at an address on North Locust.
On Feb. 1 an individual was arrested on a Douglas County bench warrant. A man was arrested Feb. 2 who was stopped for not stopping at a stop sign and not using a turn signal. The individual refused a portable breath test and was then cited for failure to stop, failure to use a turn signal, refusal of PBT, and driving under the influence.
A juvenile arrested Thursday on battery charges was turned over to juvenile intake and a second juvenile was arrested Friday for disorderly conduct.
Officers arrested an individual Friday on a Marion County District Court warrant for failure to appear.
Peabody police helped the Newton Police Department and SRS investigate a child abuse situation Friday. The abuse took place in Harvey County, but the child is a Peabody resident.
