Peabody police file domestic battery charges

Charges have been filed against an individual in a domestic battery case. Peabody Police Chief Jeff Pohlman said the incident took place Sunday evening at 809 North Locust in Peabody. The suspect fled on foot and has not been arrested, but charges were filed against him.

Pohlman also reported that local officers still are investigating vandalism that occurred at the city park and the swimming pool during the summer.

A concession trailer belonging to Sharon Oursler was broken into earlier in the summer. The trailer was parked north of the baseball diamond.

Pohlman reports that officers now know the identities of the juveniles involved in that incident.

Charges against the juveniles are being filed in Marion County District Court.
