Peabody Market slated to win state award

The Department of Commerce has designated the month of June as Business Appreciation month.
Business Appreciation Month gives the State of Kansas and local organizations an opportunity to honor businesses for their contributions to the economy as well as the quality of life within their communities.
Each year the Department of Commerce provides organizations or individuals the opportunity to nominate deserving businesses that give back to the local and state economy and the community for a Kansas Business Appreciation Award.
The three separate categories are manufacturing/distribution, service, and retail.
Peabody Market is scheduled to win an award, nominated by Peabody Main Street Association at the regional recognition and award event June 1 in Wichita.
Both Peabody Market and Peabody Main Street Association are anxiously waiting for June 1 to arrive so that we can celebrate together the contributions Peabody Market has made to our community.
