Peabody man injured in car-motorcycle accident
A collision Friday evening between a car and a motorcycle sent a Peabody man to the hospital, according to Peabody Police Chief Jeff Pohlman.
The accident occurred at 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of 5th and Elm streets. Larry Andrews of Peabody was riding a motorcycle and was taken by ambulance to Newton Medical Center.
Andrews suffered a broken arm, was treated, and released.
Christopher Hewitt of Sterling was the driver of the other vehicle.
No tickets were issued.
