Peabody-Burns school board holds special meetings
USD 398 board of education approved the school district budget Aug. 22 at a special meeting. After review it was approved on a 7-0 vote. There were no patrons present to question or contest the $5 million budget.
Following the budget meeting the group reconvened for a board retreat with all members, superintendent, and high school principal present.
Eligibility policy, kindergarten enrollment projections, and additional standard agenda items were discussed. No action was taken and the meeting adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
