Peabody-Burns harriers bring home five medals
The Peabody-Burns cross country team opened its season with a meet Thursday in Clearwater. Five runners of the 11-member team won medals.
In the ninth and 10th grade girls' division, freshman Ashley Elliott placed fourth. Also in that division, sophomore Kate Topham placed sixth and Alyssa Carter 34th.
In the 11th and 12th grade girls' division, Jana Windsor placed ninth.
Andrew Topham earned a first place medal in the eighth grade boys' division.
The Warrior runners will travel next to Hesston on Thursday.
