Peabody-Burns athletes take HOA league honors

Four Peabody-Burns athletes received Heart of America league basketball post-season honors. The PBHS athletes were nominated by PBHS coaches and voted on by HOA league coaches.

Jessi Hilliard, sophomore, was voted second team all-league. Hilliard averaged 14 points a game. She averaged 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 steals per contest. She is the daughter of Gary and Brenda Hilliard of Peabody.

Isaac Good, junior, was voted second team all-league. Good averaged 10.7 points per game and three rebounds. He grabbed 2.3 steals and added 4.4 assists per contest. He is the son of Chuck and Susan Good of Peabody.

Senior Nathan Hittle was voted all-league honorable mention. Hittle averaged 10 points per game. He added 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 2.7 assists per contest. He is the son of Lisa Hittle of Peabody.

Christian Bengtsson is a senior foreign exchange student from Germany. Bengtsson also was voted all-league honorable mention. Bengtsson averaged 8.3 points per game. He shot 58 percent from the field and had five rebounds per contest. His host parents are Harlin and Doris Unruh of Peabody.
