PBJH musicians perform at HOA music festival

Peabody-Burns Junior High band and choir traveled March 7 to Little River for the Heart of America League Music Festival.

The band performed "Korean Folk Song Medley" and "Eagle Crest" which received I ratings.

The choir sang "Danza Whatever Here," receiving a I rating.

Solo performances included Abe Eldridge, tenor saxophone, I; Taylor Ensminger, french horn, I; Chris Loucks and Traylee Woodruff, clarinet, I; Aaron Topham, baritone saxophone, I; Shelby Elliott and Julie Wedel, voice, I; Trevor Foth, alto saxophone, I; Kaitlyn Preheim and Julie Wedel, flute, I-; Jordan Riggs, bells, I-; Seth Alstrom, Kristin McGonigal, and Kaitlyn Preheim, voice, I-; Seth Alstrom and Jacob Simmonds, alto saxophone, II+; Jacob Gillet, trumpet, II+; Austin Jost, trombone, II+; Danielle Savage and Traylee Woodruff, voice, II; and Destiny Tyler, voice, III.

Voice students are directed by Allison Many and instrumental students, Steven D. Glober.
