PBJH loses first game of season
Peabody-Burns Junior High junior varsity boys' basketball team dropped its first game of the season Nov. 21 to the Remington Colts, 28-27.
Remington led by three at the end of the first quarter, 4-1. PBJH came back in the second period and posted a four-point lead at the half, 16-12.
Remington again took the lead in the third and held on to take the victory. The Tomahawks battled to within one late in the fourth but lost in the final seconds.
Storm Pickens led the team with 14 points. Caleb Hilliard added eight points, Dylan Jones had three points, and Jason Wingert had two points.
