PBHS Warrior band participates in Hyllningsfest parade
The Peabody-Burns High School Warrior Band traveled to Lindsborg Saturday to participate in the Svensk Hyllningsfest Parade.
The band received a personal invitation to attend this year, after such a successful performance at the last parade two years ago.
Once again, the band was the hit of the parade, receiving thunderous applause, many cheers, and lots of compliments and admiration from the spectators on the street.
"The students did an excellent job of marching at the parade," said band director Steven Glover, "especially considering the number of band members who could not attend due to the league volleyball tournament. These kids should be very proud of themselves. They have done a great job representing our two communities."
