PBHS volleyball squad competes at Olpe

Peabody-Burns High School volleyball team played four matches over the weekend, losing three and winning one, during tournament play at Olpe.
In the first game of the tournament, the Lady Warriors lost to Bishop Seabury, 25-23 and 25-11. Kali Alstrom had 23 sets, nine assists, and one ace. Hannah Redger had two aces and four digs. Jessi Hilliard had six digs and eight kills. Rebecca Morris had eight digs and two kills. Traci Windsor had nine digs and two kills and Jessica Gillet had two digs.
In game two, the PBHS squad lost to Olpe, 25-11 and 25-14. No stats were available from the coaching staff at press time.
In game three, the Lady Warriors lost to Marias d'Cyne 25-6 and 25-21. No stats were available for the match.
The Lady Warriors posed a victory in match four, beating Marmaton Valley, 25-12 and 25-23. Hilliard had nine digs, seven kills, and four blocks. Megan Weber had four digs. Morris had three digs and one kill. Windsor had eight digs. Alstrom had 10 assists, eight digs, and two aces. Gillet had three digs and one kill. Redger had three digs and two kills.
JV play
In junior varsity tournament play, the Lady Warriors played five matches.
Northern Heights defeated Peabody-Burns, 25-23 and 25-17. Wilson had 10 service points and Jessica Antonio had six.
Marias d'Cyne defeated PBHS JV, 25-10 and 25-10. Ruth McLeod had three service points.
Olpe beat PBHS JV 25-12 and 25-22. McLeod had five service points.
Emporia freshman defeated PBHS JV 25-7 and 25-21. McLeod had four service points.
