PBHS students participate in league concert
Eight Peabody-Burns High School band students traveled to Goessel High School Nov. 1 to attend the Heart of America League Instrumental Honors Concert.
Students rehearsed all afternoon before presenting a concert that evening. More than 100 students from league schools participated in the concert under the direction of guest conductor Brad Bone.
Attending from PBHS and the instruments they play were Kate Topham and Lindsay Wiebe, flute; Kali Alstrom, clarinet; Ashley Elliott, baritone saxophone; Megan Cox and Traci Windsor, trumpet; Ethan Riggs, French horn, and Nicholas Whitney, percussion. They were accompanied by Steven Glover, PBHS band director.
