PBHS students attend Crown Uptown workshops
Members of the Peabody-Burns High School forensics team and their sponsor Dorothy Rucker attended the "Excursion in Professional Theatre" workshops Wednesday at the Crown Uptown Theatre in Wichita.
Each student in the PBHS group selected two sessions to attend. The sessions were taught by professional actors who are cast members in the current Crown Uptown production of "Annie Get Your Gun."
Workshop choices included "Selling a Song," "Actors on Acting," "Improvisation, Dance for the Non-dancer," "Advanced Dance," and "Stage Combat."
After the sessions, the students enjoyed a buffet lunch followed by a performance of "Annie Get Your Gun."
