PBHS qualifies for state forensics
Sterling Invitational Forensics Tournament was held Saturday at Sterling.
Peabody-Burns High School forensics medal winners in improvised duet acting were Anna Zappone and Oliver Whitney, fourth and Rebecca Morris and Nycole Dale, sixth. All students have qualified for the state forensics festival in May.
Alex Holm-McDowell and Charlie Rippe placed ninth in improvised duet acting.
Other competitors included Charlie Rippe, Grant Buller, and Ethan Riggs, prose interpretation and Rebecca Morris, serious solo.
Team members observing were Dane Lau and Ricky Hill.
The next tournament will be Saturday at Council Grove.
