PBHS golf team finishes seventh at state

The Peabody-Burns High School golf squad wrapped up the year with a trip to state competition at Leonardville. With a team score of 337, they placed seventh in the field of nine teams.
Tipton won the title with a score of 284. Riley County was second at 292 and Lakeside finished third with a score of 292.
Brian Wingert medaled at ninth, finishing the day with a 71. Joseph Zappone shot a 78. Jake Watts finished with an 88. A.J. Jones shot a 100. Oliver Whitney scored a 103 and Thomas McGee came in with a 105.
