PBHS forensic students compete

Peabody-Burns High School forensic students competed April 10 at the Centre Invitational Forensics Tournament.

Medal winners included Dane Lau, informative speaking, second; Ruth McLeod, serious solo acting, second; Seth Methvin, informative speaking, fifth; and Rebecca Morris, serious solo acting, sixth.

Others placing in the tournament were Ethan Riggs, prose interpretation, seventh; Anna Zappone, humorous solo acting, eighth; and Jessica Rosine and Rebecca Morris, duet acting, 11th.

The following were competitors from PBHS: Grant Buller, serious solo acting; Charlie Rippe, humorous solo acting; Grant Buller/Alex Holm-McDowell and Ethan Riggs/Jesse Rigs, duet acting; Nycole Dale/Oliver Whitney, Jessica Rosine/Seth Methvin, and Charlie Rippe/Alex Holm-McDowell, improvised duet acting.

Marion, Little River, Smoky Valley, Berean Academy, White City, Wakefield, Council Grove, Tescott, Bennington, Herington, Hillsboro, Elyria Christian, and McPherson also competed in the tournament.
