PBHS boys' cross country win HOA title

The PBHS boys Cross County team claimed the Heart of America league title Thursday at Harvey County East Lake. Andrew Topham paced the 2A race with a first place finish with a time of 15:56. Seth Alstrom was fifth with a time of 17-52. In sixth place was Duane Unruh at 17:58. Jacob Wolf crossed the finish line at seventh with a time of 17:59.
PBHS scored 38 points to take the title. Berean Academy was second with 67 points. Hutch Trinity was third with 73 points. Sedgwick came in fourth with 77 points and Canton-Galva was fifth with 123 points.
Aaron Topham came in 19th, Ryan Wiebe 23rd, Kendall Wiebe 27th, Curtis Frederick 30th, Seth Methvin 32nd, Josh Klarman 34th, Carsten Scheben 48th, Ethan Riggs 53rd, and Martin Hofkamp 67th.
PBHS was also represented by three Lady Warriors. Samantha Pickens, Jessica Rosine and Erica Frederick finished 53rd, 54th, and 55th, respectively.
