PBHS band students perform at honors concert
Nine Peabody-Burns High School band students traveled Nov. 7 to Berean Academy to participate in the Heart of America League Instrumental Honors Concert.
Students met for rehearsals in the afternoon and the concert was presented that evening.
Dr. John Lynch from the University of Kansas was guest conductor.
Students from PBHS were Kali Alstrom, clarinet; Megan Cox, trumpet; Ashley Elliott, baritone saxophone; Chris Milstead, flute; Ethan Riggs, French horn; Jason Unruh, trombone; Oliver Whitney, baritone; Lindsay Wiebe, flute; and Traci Windsor, trumpet. They were accompanied by band director Steven Glover.
