PBHS all-school play is Nov. 14-15 years ago
Peabody-Burns High School will present an all-school play this year instead of a musical production.
"Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Oven," is a courtroom farce by Timothy Pechey. The audience gets to be a part of the action as the jury is chosen from audience members.
Gretel (of "Hansel and Gretel") is on trial for the murder of the witch. The prosecutor and defense counsel present many hilarious witnesses as each tries to prove whether or not Gretel committed the crime.
The play will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15 in the Brown Building Concert Hall.
Ticket prices are listed in an advertisement elsewhere in this issue.
The cast of the play includes Megan Cox, Andrea Ferren, Stacy Hague, Jesse Riggs, Katy Schmidt, Amber Spechtenhauser, Frankie Stevenson, Kate Topham, Jason Unruh, Michael Unruh, Jarred Weems, Shannon Welsh, Oliver Whitney, Lindsay Wiebe, Jacob Wolf, Lydia Wolf, and Anna Zappone. Steven Glover is the director.
