Pastor Ragland gives presentation on Ukraine trip
Pastor David Ragland, minister of Summit and Peabody United Methodist churches, gave a presentation Oct. 10 to Burns Senior Citizens organization and guests.
Ragland gave a report on his and his wife's Volunteers In Missions trip to Kiev, Ukraine. They left July 4 and were gone 10 days.
The couple worked with street children. Residents in Kiev have running water only six hours a day in their homes. Ragland showed some of their purchases of pumpkin candy, instant coffee, nesting dolls, wooden Easter eggs, and some jewelry.

Gaines and Ammeter were hostesses.
The next meeting will be Nov. 14.
