The men's club met Monday morning to work on craft projects and to visit. The women's club met in the afternoon to assemble treat bags for Halloween. We also shared memories and special tips for doing laundry in the days before washing machines.

We had a large group Tuesday enjoying a music appreciation class. The Parkside dominoes group played a number of games during the afternoon. Cookies and coffee were served.

We enjoyed the smell and taste Wednesday morning of freshly made donut holes as we read the weekly newspapers. Spirit and Celebration sang for us just before lunch. We appreciate young people taking time to include us in their schedules. Pastor Roy Keller led the afternoon Bible class. Vanilla ice cream was the treat of the afternoon.

Some folks enjoyed playing basketball Thursday. We had a large group for our weekly hymn-sing. Our weekly bingo game was played Thursday so we could go on a surrey ride Friday afternoon.

Gene Magnuson taught the morning Sunday school class. Parkview MB Church brought the afternoon worship service.
