A new event started this week. Three mornings a week we have a barbershop. One can get a shave or shoeshine and once a month, a hair cut. After morning coffee, a number of women went on a shopping trip. Pastor Charles Priddy brought a devotional that afternoon based on the tabernacle, complete with pictures. Afterward vanilla ice cream was served.
Residents enjoyed Monday sharing their holiday memories. Tuesday they enjoyed the beautiful weather. Two tables of dominoes were played and all enjoyed snacks and coffee.
All were delighted Wednesday with fresh donut holes and coffee.
We had a traditional hymn sing Thursday before lunch and a sharing circle after lunch.
Bingo was played Friday with Mariann as caller.
Parkview church brought the Sunday afternoon worship service.
