Residents enjoyed hearing Kathy Fish from the Hillsboro City Library read stories and we talked about memories the stories brought to mind.
Domino players were invited to Tuesday afternoon games. They shared cookies and coffee while competing for points. During the domino games other residents enjoyed playing bingo. After the games, the residents enjoyed music with Dave and his guitar.
Everyone enjoyed fresh donut holes and coffee while the newspaper was read. Pastor Dave Fast brought the afternoon devotional. Chocolate ice cream also was served. We had an old-time sing-along featuring school songs and gospel songs from the past accompanied by Peggy and the accordion.
Max Dunn from New Mexico brought a musical program Thursday morning consisting of western, old school, and popular songs of the past.
Residents enjoyed our first surrey ride of the year. The afternoon was warm and residents needed sunglasses.
We had share and show time Friday morning. Weekly bingo games were played with everyone receiving a banana after the games. Bingo continues to be a favorite at Parkside. If you would like to play, please join us.
