Parkside resident council met Monday afternoon to discuss current issues. The activities for the holiday season also were discussed. It was decided to go out to see the Christmas lights around town again this year.

Parkside dominoes group played a number of games during the late afternoon. Frank Peters and Dave Classen were top scorers. Cookies and coffee were enjoyed during the games.

We enjoyed the smell and taste of freshly-made donut holes Wednesday morning as we read the weekly newspapers. We watched the video, "Life of Christ" for our Bible class time. Peach ice cream was the treat of the afternoon.

We gathered Thursday morning and enjoyed our favorite hymns. We had our annual peppernut bake with HMS in the afternoon. We appreciate Carla Koslowsky making the dough and helping us enjoy this delicious activity. The Band of Ahs from Herington brought the evening program.

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. Plenty of food, friends, family, and activities centered around the theme of thanks. We are grateful for all who take time to visit and share lives with us. We hope you also will have a blessed Thanksgiving.
