Orville Roberts
Orville Roberts, 80, Clay Center, died Nov. 8, 2002, at Clay County Medical Center.
He was the father of Shirley (Mrs. Paul) Robinson of Peabody; the brother of Lowell Roberts of Clay Center; and had one grandson.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and sister. He married Barbara Cunningham on Oct. 17, 1955, she survives.
He farmed and worked with custom harvesters for several years. He also worked at service stations and for a manufacturing plant in Hutchinson, retiring in 1987.
Services were held Monday morning in Clay Center with burial in Greenwood Cemetery there.
A memorial fund has been established in his name with the American Heart Association.
