Open house planned Sunday at Indian Guide Terrace
The public is invited to see the changes at Indian Guide Terrace Apartments during an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The apartments are located at 501 N. Vine in Peabody. Those attending will be free to tour the facility and vacant apartments.
The City of Peabody Housing Authority has been improving the grounds and building at the facility. The building has a new roof and outside paint. The sign in front of the building was replaced, courtesy of the housing authority and family and friends of Harold (Bill) Richmond.
The apartment complex provides housing for people 62 years of age or older, or for handicapped or disabled individuals. Rent is based on 30 percent of adjusted income and includes utilities.
Members of the facility's board of directors are Shreves Avery, Vickie Cook, Irvin McPheeters, Sharon Schmill, and Mark Whitney.
