Open house is Friday at Legacy Park

Legacy Park will be showing off all of its remodeling and improvements Friday night at a celebration to which the community is invited.

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with a hog roast. There will be games, clowns, and face painting for the children and musical entertainment for everyone.

The highlight of the event will be tours of the newly remodeled facility. The tours will begin shortly after 6 p.m. and continue until 8 p.m. Tour participants will be given a raffle ticket for free prizes after completion of the tour. (Visitors must be 18 or older to take the tour.)

A Char-Broil gas grill, a 19" Emerson television (DVD/VCR combo), and a hand-crafted quilt will be given to three lucky raffle winners.

"We figure the chances for one of these great prizes is a great deal better than a chance at the lottery," said Ron Leupp, Legacy Park administrator. "We're hoping the community will take a break from the summertime routine and join us for some food and fun."

"We really are pleased to be able to show everyone the improvements that have been made in the last year. They are good reasons to celebrate and we hope to see everyone Friday night."

There is no charge to attend, but folks are asked to bring lawn chairs for the hog roast and entertainment. .
