Ladies Aid will meet Thursday for an all-day meeting.

Monday visitors of Harold and Bernice Odle were Lee Ayers and Emily of Cottonwood Falls.

We're happy to report Reva Goodwin is home and doing well. We wish her a speedy recovery. We miss her and Harold at church.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Wilbur (Bill) Louis. Years ago, Bill taught many young boys how to handle hay and the correct way to stack it. He had lots of patience. Our son Gary was one of the ones he taught. Bill will be missed by many.

Chase County Line 4-H went to the regional competition Saturday at Madison. They received alternative top blue for their skit. We extend our congratulations to them. Johnny and Jaimie Lang and Amy Mitchell were among those attending.

The 4-H kids have been busy during spring break. They're doing spring cleanup projects to make money to go the 4-H camp.

Emily Hort from Kansas City was Jessica Lang's weekend guest last weekend.

Bill and Margie Williams and Hazel Clothier attended visitation Friday evening for Bill Louis at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence. Bill attended the funeral services Saturday afternoon at the Florence United Methodist Church.

We've enjoyed having grandson Carl Williams of Manhattan home this week.

Pastor Clint Stopple's message, "Being United in Unity With Christ," was taken from Ephesians 4:1-6.

Weekend guests of Roy and Bev Reynolds were their son and family, Alan, Kelsey, and Kelley of Winfield. Bev and grandson Kelley met her daughter, Kathy Dowell in Wichita Friday for lunch.

Hazel Clothier and Joyce Hett of Marion, had lunch together Thursday at the Town and Country Café in Florence. Hazel attended services for Bill Louis Saturday afternoon. Later, Hazel and Joyce visited Lois and Bus Huntley in Florence. Saturday evening visitors of Hazel were Pat and Janet Post of Burns.

Have a good week!
