OASIS needs help for holiday gifting
The OASIS school at Florence needs public support for its holiday gifting program and auction.
OASIS operates to benefit challenged students.
Donations of gift items, gift certificates, cash, and wrapping supplies help to support the school's annual auction.
The auction uses points earned by the students for good behavior. They can spend those points for items at the auction.
The program and auction has proven to be highly successful in past years.
Many items are needed, for all ages. Students buy gifts for themselves and family members.
Gift certificates are popular because there are students from all areas of the county.
The auction will be held Dec. 20 but gift items, money, and certificates are needed by this coming Monday.
Items may be dropped off at the school in Florence, at the Marion County Record office in Marion, or by contacting Nancy Fruechting at 620-382-2343.
